 Penguins

Penguins are very intersting birds. They cannot fly, but they can swim very well. They use their webbed for swimming in the water half of their life in water. They spend half of their life and half on land.

There are 

There are seventeen species of penguins in the world. Each species is different from the other in looks, behaviour and habitat. They are found in Antarctia, island of South America, Australia And New Zealand. They find their food underwater, however they birth their young ones on the land. The biggest penguins may be 5 feet tall and their weight is almost 100 pounds(40 kg) but the smallest kind is only about 1 feet (30cm) tall and its weight is 1kg.

The Mother penguins 

The mother penguins lays a big egg. She places it on the top of her feet to keep it warm. Then she passes on the egg to the father penguin who takes the responsibility to keep the egg safe and warm. The father and the mother take turn keeping the egg warm and save. Penguin eat fish and other small water animals. Young ones of penguins depend on their parents for food. When the baby penguin is hungry, the parent penguin brings already eaten food up from its stomach and the baby penguin takes it right from the parents mouth. Penguins chicks must be fed after 20 minutes otherwise they may be died. Penguins are actually very social animals. They work together in groups. They always travel together. They stay in goups so that they can easily defend againts their predator.

A penguins life span is between 15 years to 20 years. Penguins are really an amazing creature of Allah Almighty."?
