Pakistan has an area of 881,913 km (square) kilometres.slam is the religion of 96.5%of its population. Chirstians Hindus Pareis and Ahmadis also live in this country along with Muslim majority. Pakistan is located in he south Asia.It is the country of ferfile land countains rivers and enchanting valleys.Some of its parts remain hot while others remain cold all over the year. Its land is known for fertility and productivity.Almost all kinds if fruites grow here which are considered best in their quality and faster.Populatin is unequally distrbuted among the provinces of panjab Sindh Balochistan K.Pk Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. Pakistan is surrounded by various countries: India in the east!

In our country numerous festivals and fairs are held every years which reflect our culture. These festivals and fairs are celebrated with religious fervour and great devotion throughout Pakistan. Besides religious festivals the national and local festival are also an important part of our culture. Chirstiansabbat, Hindus, Sikhs and the people of other religions also celebrate their religious festival in Pakistan. Dresses:In Pakistan, people of diffrent provinces and areas wear diffrent dresses.Diffrent types of dresses are worn in rural and urban area. Dresses have close link with seasonal conditions of diffrent regions.In summer ,loose and light dresses are worn while in winter woolen dresses are worn.Women wear dupatta, shalwar embroidered dresses!

The floods during the monsoon season in 2010 affected people in all the four province of pakistan. Thousand of people lost their family members relatives or friends.Thousand in fact hundreds of thousand became homeless. Huge areas of land were flooded and the crops were destroyed. people lost cattle chicken and other sources of income.But people had faith in allah.They did not give up hope.Soon things started to change for the better for maby of them. The floods were a blessing in disguise for shakeela Mai. She was a widow and a mother of three children. Before the floods she worked as a maid in people is houses to feed her children.During the worst floods in Pakistan is history shakeela lost her house and her job.Then one of the non-governmental orgnisations Started work for the flood affected people gave her 60 hens with feed for three months. Three 15-years old student were selected to represent pakistan in one of the largest high school tournament in the world. This was the hafsa karl popper Debating Championship Circate This gave them an opportunity to visit Mexico for the first time. The visit also made them and Pakistan famous throughout the world. The Pakistan team won the final against the group from south korea the team won this debaste competition after wining six preliminary rounds three elimition in rounds and the grand final ronud. Additional all three contestan were listed in the top speakers of the tournament.Wakeela shakoor a student of the karachi Grammer school got the top position in the competition while awards a student of the Salamt International Campus for advanced Studies in Lahore came second. The third student Ahmed shuhaan from the aitchison collage was not far behind and bagged the fifth position among more than 400 Participant!

I used to have a pet peacock called Miru.Iloved him very much. Our village has lotes of Large fields around it and Miru used to wanter in them all the time. In the evening he would come back home and dance beautifully. One sad evening Miru Did not come home. I was worried and wanted to search for him. Miru might have found a friends laughed my father. You will see tomorrow he will come back with his friend. I did not sleep for a moment that night. As soon as it was morning we started searching for Miru. I went to his favourite tree.He was not there. I want to the bushes near the pond He was not there. Then I went into the fields I called Miru Miru. He did not come. Then I whistled but there was still no Miru. A farmer was ploughing his field. What are you looking for Zulqarnain?'He asked.

Zahra was very happy.Every day she wakked three kilometores with her brothers to go to the middle school. However the villagers did not like Zahra going to the boys school. They said "Zahra must stay at home with her mother."But Zahra is mother and father replied "No!She will go to school. She wants to be a teacher". The villagers were angry.They said She must not cross our village streets because when our daughters see her they will also want to go to school. "Poor Zahra and mateen! Now they had to take a longer route to the middle school. They had to walk five kilometers to school to avoid the angry villagers. Zahra was alone in the boys school.She could not play games.She had no one to talk to but she was very good in her studies. Her teacher were kind to her.She worked very hard. Year after year she studies and passed her secndary scool certificate examination with an A-grade. Now Zahra has completed her studies.She will soon become a teacher!
